Some DS106-ers might suggest that Alan’s “yam creations” were not that inspiring. However, for someone new to Photoshop, I must disagree. Alan’s zany approach to “sweet potato creativity” hooked me, and inspired me to “make art”, well before the Spring 2012 DS106 course officially started! I think that my resulting blog post entitled “I ‘yam’ having so much fun learning!” demonstrates how Alan inspired and motivated me.
